I just had one of those days, where I came home from work so inspired by an idea, I let the evening slip away and nearly forgot to eat dinner!
My inspiration was fueled mostly by my new obsession with Pinterest. In their own words:
Pinterest lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes.
Best of all, you can browse pinboards created by other people. Browsing pinboards is a fun way to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests.
I know Pinterest only as an addiction. No, I’m not ready to seek treatment just yet. I’m having way too much fun browsing peoples pins at all hours of the day! Did I mention they have an iPhone app?
Anyhow, I’ve found lots of goodies on the site. Today, while thinking about our large expanse of empty wall in the family room, I started searching Pinterest for shelving inspiration. With what I found, I came home ready to research, measure, budget and go with this idea…after hashing it out some more with my
lovely virile husband, Shane. I can’t wait to start saving some dough and act on this great idea. You can check out my boards on Pinterest and try and guess what my fabulous idea involves. I’ll post more about it later once the plan is more refined.
(Beware: the site is incredibly addicting and time-consuming. Don’t say you weren’t warned!)
